Moments later, Ye Yunfei arrived at an ancient mountainous region, dotted with stone forests and sheer cliffs that reached into the sky, the terrain extremely treacherous.
It was a special topography, permeated by an eerie aura that could block Soul Power perception.
"That Stone-born Saint Spirit is most likely here!"
Ye Yunfei carefully examined the surrounding landscape and terrain using his Geomancy studies, inwardly remaining vigilant.
The Stone-born Saint Spirit's strength was exceedingly terrifying; if Ye Yunfei weren't well-versed in Geomancy, he wouldn't have dared to come looking for it at all.

There's an ancient cave over there."
Suddenly, Ye Yunfei spotted a distant mountain with an ancient cave, from which billowing, mist-like spiritual essence continuously poured out.

Then Ye Yunfei saw a gray-robed elder walking at the forefront, holding an ancient Compass in his hand. With each step he took, the ground beneath his feet spewed forth abundant earth energy, transforming into clusters of yellow lotuses that supported his body.
A large group of people followed behind him.

Ye Yunfei spotted Lu Feng, with whom he had gambled on stones at the Four Directions Trading House not long ago.
Ye Yunfei lightly stomped his foot. Billowing earth energy erupted, instantly enveloping his body and allowing him to temporarily turn invisible.
Soon, the gray-robed elder led the group to the very spot where Ye Yunfei had just been standing.
"Look, an ancient cave!
That Saint Spirit is in the cave. We've finally found it!"
Guided by his Compass, the gray-robed elder saw the cave and became extremely excited.
"Act immediately. Deploy our Lu Family's ancestral Earth-Locking Grand Formation, trap it, then proceed to capture it!"
The gray-robed elder shouted in a low voice.
At his command, the group dispersed, taking out various formation-setting materials. Some burrowed underground, others moved across the surface, and still others soared into the air, beginning to set up Formations to seal off this entire stretch of land.
"It seems these are all members of the Lu Family.
In my past life, I only knew that this Stone-born Saint Spirit was startled for some reason and thus emerged, but I never knew who exactly startled it.
Now it's clear. It was the Lu Family members who came specifically to capture it, thus startling it and forcing it to emerge."

Suddenly, from deep within the ancient cave, an aura erupted that sent shivers down everyone's spine, making their souls tremble and nearly forcing them to their knees.
"It seems this Stone-born Saint Spirit is even stronger than I imagined!"
Ye Yunfei was somewhat startled.
"Everyone, be careful. That Saint Spirit is terrifying!"
The gray-robed elder was also taken aback and shouted a warning.
"Who dares disturb my peaceful cultivation!"
Suddenly, a furious roar echoed from the cave, as if a supreme existence had been awakened, unleashing an oceanic surge of energy.

Immediately afterwards, an ancient carriage shot out of the cave at an astonishing speed. It was just over a meter tall, ancient in design, and polished entirely from stone.
On the carriage stood a dwarf approximately half a meter tall. His entire body seemed carved from bluish-green jade, crystalline and translucent, with dazzling divine rings winding around his form, making him appear like a deity.
In his hand, he held a golden long spear. His countenance was mighty, thick with killing intent, and his aura could topple the heavens.
That carriage was too fast, flashing past and instantly grinding several Lu Family members who failed to dodge in time into bloody paste.
"Those who disturb my tranquility shall die!"
The jade-like being growled. The long spear in his hand suddenly swung out, continuously enlarging, and struck several more Lu Family members until they exploded into clouds of blood mist.
All these Lu Family members had thick layers of earth energy protecting them and Earth Dragons coiling around them, but it was useless. They were instantly annihilated.
"Everyone be careful! Its strength exceeds what we anticipated!
One-on-one, even I am no match for it!
All of you, get back! Use the Earth Formations to deal with it!"
The gray-robed elder roared.
The Lu Family members were all scared out of their wits, desperately trying to flee from the Saint Spirit.

The gray-robed elder bellowed.

The gray-robed elder's words only angered the Saint Spirit further. Driving his carriage and brandishing his spear, he charged across the sky, aiming to kill the gray-robed elder.

The gray-robed elder stomped his foot, activating a hazardous zone before him. Over a hundred Earth Dragons surged out, roaring as they pounced on the Saint Spirit.

The gray-robed elder formed hand seals with his hands, continuously casting them out, activating more and more hazardous zones to besiege the Saint Spirit.
He understood that with his own strength, he was no match for this Saint Spirit at all; he could only rely on the various methods within Geomancy to resist it.
The other Lu Family members also charged over from all directions, directing earth energy and Earth Dragons to surround and attack the Saint Spirit.
For a time, the two sides fought until the heavens cracked and the earth split, shaking the very earth and making this area boil.
