"Be careful! This kid's physical strength is terrifying!" someone shouted in alarm.
"Argh! Damn you! You tore off my right arm!" The fierce-looking man, having retreated to a distance, clutched his blood-drenched right shoulder and roared in grief and fury at Ye Yunfei.
"Don't be afraid of him, everyone! We have the numbers! Let's rush him together, kill this kid, and split whatever he has on him!" the thin man cried out.
"Right! Attack together!" The other True Immortals exchanged glances, gritted their teeth, and nodded in agreement to gang up on Ye Yunfei.
By this time, a few more True Immortals had been attracted by the commotion, bringing the total to twenty-eight completely surrounding Ye Yunfei.
"Take action!" The thin man took the lead, charging toward Ye Yunfei.
Ye Yunfei stood rooted on the spot, not moving a muscle, a look of disdain on his face.
"It seems this kid has some skill. Lucky I didn't attack him earlier, or I'd be in a bad spot right now," thought the blue-robed middle-aged man, who had quietly shifted behind Ye Yunfei, planning a sneak attack from the rear. He felt secretly grateful.
"Let me test your physical strength, kid!" A tall, burly man suddenly accelerated, charging ahead of the others to stand before Ye Yunfei. With a roar, he raised a giant purple-gold hammer and brought it smashing down on Ye Yunfei. The weapon rumbled through the void like a golden divine mountain, appearing immensely powerful.
*CLANG!*
Ye Yunfei didn't dodge or evade. He simply threw a punch, his formidable physical strength concentrated in his fist. A single blow caused the enormous purple-gold hammer to explode, disintegrating into a rain of golden fragments.
Ye Yunfei's physical body had already assimilated several Earth Immortal-level treasures. Coupled with his frightening power, how could the weapons of these mere True Immortals possibly withstand a direct clash with his flesh? They shattered on contact!
"Not good!" Seeing his precious hammer pulverized by a single punch, the burly man realized the gravity of the situation and had no desire to linger in the fight. He turned to flee.
*BOOM!*
Ye Yunfei delivered a follow-up punch, sending the man flying sideways before his body directly exploded into a cloud of bloody mist.
"Perish." Now that he had taken action, Ye Yunfei had no intention of holding back. His fists lashed out like the wind.
*BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!...*
Ye Yunfei’s fists were like flashes of lightning. Within moments, he had smashed the bodies of over ten True Immortals. No matter what cultivation techniques or secret arts these True Immortals employed, they were all blown apart by a single punch from Ye Yunfei. There was no suspense to it.
"Spare us, young master! Please don't kill us!" The remaining True Immortals, witnessing Ye Yunfei's terrifying combat prowess, were so frightened they fell to their knees, begging for mercy.
"So, you lot are nothing but bullies—weak against the strong, cowards clinging to life." Ye Yunfei looked at the kneeling True Immortals, feeling both irritated and amused. Nevertheless, he still lowered his fists.
This was because Ye Yunfei felt he held no life-or-death grudge against these True Immortals. If they hadn't attacked him, there was no need to slaughter them all. His battle strength was already at the Earth Immortal level; facing a group of True Immortals, killing them all or not seemed inconsequential—a matter of mentality.
The blue-robed middle-aged man stood frozen in place, his face pale and his body trembling uncontrollably. He stared at Ye Yunfei with terrified eyes, wanting to flee but not daring to move. He was beginning to regret bringing Ye Yunfei back to this place. All those who had just been killed by Ye Yunfei were his accomplices, fellow recluses living on this dilapidated fragment of land, normally able to look out for each other. Now, they were all dead.
Ye Yunfei walked over and stood before the blue-robed man, gazing at him coolly.
"Young man, let's talk this through," the blue-robed man stammered, his legs weak with fright. He knew he was no match for the youth before him. Any move would mean certain death.
"Fine. Hand over everything you have. Every last thing," Ye Yunfei stated flatly.
The blue-robed man hesitated for a moment but ultimately surrendered all his possessions, passing them to Ye Yunfei. He had brought Ye Yunfei here with the primary intent of robbing him. Now, the tables had turned, and all his belongings had been taken instead.
"Get over here, all of you." Ye Yunfei's voice was icy.
This included the blue-robed man, making seven True Immortals in total still alive. None dared disobey. They hurried over and stood nervously before Ye Yunfei in a respectful line.
"Now then, tell me. Has anyone seen this senior? This senior entered the Colorless Abyss not long ago." Ye Yunfei used his Soul Power to project a lifelike image of Di Ming beside him, then posed the question.
"This senior…" The seven True Immortals fixed their eyes on Di Ming’s likeness, studying it intently.
After a short while, a short, stocky cultivator spoke up cautiously, "Young warrior, I haven't seen this senior. I've generally been in seclusion here recently, recuperating. I've only ventured out twice."
"I've been out and about quite often lately, but I haven't encountered this senior either."
"I haven't left here at all during this time."
...
One by one, the other True Immortals echoed similar statements.
"Young warrior, although I haven't seen this senior, I once heard Zhou Mai mention something. Not long ago, he received a transmission from his junior brother saying someone from the outside world had entered the Colorless Abyss. His junior brother had gone to track that person down and told Zhou Mai to be ready—to rush and assist immediately if needed." One of the men suddenly spoke up.
"Oh? Someone from the outside world entering the Colorless Abyss? Could that possibly be Senior Di Ming?" Ye Yunfei's mind stirred at this news.
The Colorless Abyss was a unique realm among the Three Thousand Major and Minor Worlds, full of unknown dangers. It was rare for any living being to venture in voluntarily. If someone had entered recently, it very well could be Di Ming.
"Zhou Mai? Which one of you is Zhou Mai!" Ye Yunfei demanded immediately.
"Young warrior… Zhou Mai… was one of those you just punched to death…" the man replied carefully, a chill running down his spine as he recalled Ye Yunfei casually smashing True Immortals moments earlier. He continued, "However, Zhou Mai and his junior brother could communicate using Message Jade Slips. They used special jade slips unique to their sect."
With that, the man turned and gestured, using his energy to retrieve a jade slip and a spatial ring from amidst the scattered flesh, blood, and bone fragments in the distance. He presented them respectfully to Ye Yunfei. "Young warrior, you can use Zhou Mai's Message Jade Slip to contact his junior brother."
"Good," Ye Yunfei said after a moment's thought, his expression turning severe. "Lead the way. We'll go find Zhou Mai's junior brother together. If you can locate him, you may live. Otherwise, you will all die!"
*RUMBLE…*
A vast wave of physical strength erupted from Ye Yunfei, bearing down on the seven True Immortals. Their faces flushed, breathing became difficult, and terror filled their expressions.
