After withdrawing all the formations, Ye Yunfei turned and prepared to leave.
Seeing that Ye Yunfei truly intended to depart, the dozen or so women in black exchanged glances.
"Sir, thank you for helping us escape just now," the leading woman in black said, clasping her fists towards Ye Yunfei.
If Ye Yunfei hadn't intervened to deal with those pursuers earlier, they might still be fleeing for their lives.
"Don't mention it. It was just a trivial effort," Ye Yunfei replied.
He could tell from their expressions that while the women in black were grateful, they still harbored a guarded wariness towards him. Without lingering further, he flashed away, his figure disappearing into the distance in an instant.
"That sir's strength far surpasses ours. He might actually be the Queen's friend," one of the women said, still gazing in the direction Ye Yunfei vanished.
"The stronger he is, the more cautious we must be," the leading woman said sternly. "If such a powerful individual is deceiving us, and we foolishly trust him, it could bring immense threat to our Dark Faction."
"That makes sense. So we mustn't have too much contact with him," the other women nodded in agreement.
After Ye Yunfei left, the group of women also quietly departed from this world.
Not long after, they were seated within a flying vessel, traversing the Seventh Void at high speed. They chose a rather remote flight path, maintaining an exceptionally low profile.
After the vessel had flown through the void for some time, a faint, almost imperceptible figure stealthily followed from behind. It was Ye Yunfei.
Activating the Jade Ruyi, coupled with concealment techniques and the Laws of Space, Ye Yunfei meticulously masked his form and aura. The dozen women were only True Gods, utterly incapable of detecting his presence.
Thus, Ye Yunfei silently trailed the vessel.
His perception was exceptionally strong; even across vast spatial distances, he could clearly sense the vessel's flight trajectory. Therefore, he maintained a considerable distance.
This made it even less likely for the women to discover him.
Before long, the vessel suddenly entered a rather ordinary world cluster, located at the very edge of the Seventh Void.
Flying within the cluster for a time, the vessel then entered an inconspicuous world.
"It seems they plan to leave the Seventh Void. I never expected there to be a teleportation passage here," Ye Yunfei mused to Hun Lao as he followed stealthily.
Upon entering this world, the vessel arrived over a vast desert. Yellow sand whipped through the air everywhere under a blazing sun, creating a harsh environment.
The vessel dove directly into a specific location within the desert. Ye Yunfei's Soul Force Energy probed the area and immediately detected spatial fluctuations emanating from that spot. Clearly, there was indeed a spatial teleportation passage.
With a hum, the vessel vanished into a certain space, leaving behind only rippling spatial undulations like water waves.
Ye Yunfei immediately approached the spot and discovered a teleportation altar protected by several ancient, large-scale formations.
With a flash, Ye Yunfei passed through these ancient formations. Given his current mastery of formations and his strength, these arrays were practically non-existent to him.
Next, Ye Yunfei stepped onto the teleportation altar and initiated the teleportation.
Not long after, the teleportation ended in an unfamiliar void.
"This isn't the Sixth, Seventh, or Eighth Void. It must be one of the others," Ye Yunfei concluded, sensing far out with his Soul Force Energy and finding the void completely unfamiliar. He swiftly determined it wasn't one of the three voids under his control.
Soon, Ye Yunfei located the vessel again, already at a considerable distance.
With another flash, he gave chase, resuming his position behind the flying vessel.
"Thank goodness we've left the Seventh Void. Those fellows shouldn't be able to find us now," one of the women inside the vessel said happily.
"Sister Cao, it seems we've shaken off those pursuers. Are we returning to the Third Void now?" another asked the leader.
"Yes. We are preparing to return to the Third Void to search for the Queen," Sister Cao, the leading woman, nodded. "Our Dark Faction is in crisis. We must return and contribute our strength."
"Sister Cao, do you think that sir from before really knows the Queen?" someone asked curiously.
"It's hard to say. We'll report this to the Queen when we return. She will be the judge," Sister Cao replied. "Before his identity is confirmed, keeping our lips sealed was the right choice. And now, since we've shaken him off, there's nothing to worry about."
Not long after, the vessel arrived before another teleportation altar and began another teleportation.
Ye Yunfei followed secretly, using the same altar to teleport some time after the vessel departed.
Earlier, while in this unfamiliar void, Ye Yunfei had learned from passing creatures that this was, in fact, the Fifth Void. Thanks to his mastery of the Samsara Ghost Clan's mind-reading technique, he could read the thoughts of these passersby.
After traveling via the teleportation altar for a while, Ye Yunfei found himself in yet another void.
"It seems that although the Chaos Void Sea has fractured and fragmented, each void remnant still has teleportation passages connecting them, allowing travel between," Ye Yunfei remarked. "However, these passages are generally well-hidden. Only those who know the locations of these teleportation altars can travel between different voids."
"Because of you, some of the teleportation passages connecting the Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Voids are now open. The beings of these three voids can travel freely among them, becoming a unified whole," Hun Lao said with a chuckle. "I think that's an excellent move on your part. The integration of the three voids can enhance their overall strength."
"After the Guardian Faction is eradicated in the future, I will locate all the teleportation passages connecting the eight voids," Ye Yunfei declared. "I'll make them all interconnected, allowing all beings to travel freely. It will be as if the eight void remnants have reunited into a single entity."
As he spoke, Ye Yunfei released his Soul Force Energy and soon detected the vessel carrying the women in black. With a flash, he resumed pursuit.
"The energy and laws present in this void are quite advanced. Its overall strength is likely superior to that of the Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Voids," Hun Lao observed, sensing the void's energy and laws.
"Yes, the overall power of this void should be quite impressive," Ye Yunfei nodded.
After entering this void, the flight path of the vessel became increasingly remote and desolate. Moreover, whenever other beings passed by, the vessel would instinctively evade.
Ye Yunfei understood the women were worried that pursuers might still be tracking them.
After several days of flight within this void, the vessel suddenly slipped into a world cluster.
Upon entry, over a dozen formations shimmered into existence on the vessel's surface. These formations served purposes of illusion, concealment, and isolation. Under the combined effect of these layered arrays, the vessel was meticulously hidden, making it extremely difficult to detect.
Before long, the vessel entered a rather secluded world within this cluster.
Ye Yunfei, following stealthily from behind, remained utterly unaffected by the dozen or so formations on the vessel's surface, clearly and accurately perceiving its every move.
Once the vessel entered that secluded world, Ye Yunfei arrived at its entrance and exit point. He found over a dozen large-scale formations deployed here as well, all of respectable grade.
Just as Ye Yunfei prepared to breach these formations, the Golden-Horned Dragon Silkworm appeared beside him.
"Let me handle this."
After its last bloodline evolution breakthrough, the Golden-Horned Dragon Silkworm had awakened a talent specifically for breaching formations. Hence, it had developed a great interest in dismantling various arrays and restrictions.
With a wave of its hand, numerous golden runes materialized before it. These runes coalesced to form a golden dagger, which hummed and shot forward. Like a hot knife through butter, it effortlessly sliced openings through the dozen or so formations ahead.
Ye Yunfei and the Golden-Horned Dragon Silkworm utilized their movement techniques, instantly passing through all the formations and stepping through the world's entrance. In the next moment, they arrived within a world.
This world appeared somewhat dim.
"This world is saturated with dark-type energies. Miss Lü Dandan cultivates precisely this type of dark energy. Could it be that Miss Lü Dandan is within this world?" Hun Lao couldn't help but exclaim, sensing the nature of the energies present.
"Yes, Miss Lü Dannan cultivates these very dark-type energies," Ye Yunfei said, his eyes gleaming as he observed the slightly gloomy world.
Soon, Ye Yunfei located the vessel of the women in black and quickly resumed his pursuit.
Before long, the vessel hovered above a city of immense scale.
From high above, the continents of this world appeared dark-hued. Even most of the plants growing on these lands were shades of black. It looked like a world of darkness.
Upon reaching the skies above the city, the dozen women in black exited the vessel, stored it away, and descended towards the city below. The city appeared somewhat desolate and seemingly devoid of life—a hollow, empty shell.
The women landed within the vacant city, confusion evident on their faces.
"Sister Cao, what's going on? This branch stronghold of ours seems completely deserted. It looks like everyone has already withdrawn," one of them said.
"When we left the Third Void, this branch stronghold was fine. Something must have happened now!" Sister Cao replied. "Everyone, use your identity tokens and try to contact anyone from this stronghold."
Sister Cao took out an identity token and began sending a message. The other women followed suit, producing their own tokens and attempting communication.
Ye Yunfei stood high in the sky, perceiving clearly both the actions of the dozen women and the entire situation within the city.
"There's a group of people lying in ambush over there. They don't seem to have good intentions," Hun Lao suddenly communicated to Ye Yunfei.
"Yes, I've already sensed them," Ye Yunfei replied, his gaze shifting to a corner of the city where a group was indeed lying in wait, observing the dozen women.
Clearly, these individuals were not from the same faction. Otherwise, they would have revealed themselves the moment the women landed.
"It seems they're in danger again," Ye Yunfei shook his head with a slight smile.
