Here, the heavens were no longer heavens, and the earth was no longer earth. Light was not light, and darkness was not darkness.
Looking out, the entire world had fallen into utter chaos.
Fierce winds swept up dark clouds that rolled wildly across the sky like raging ocean waves.
Thunder and lightning, mixed with rain and snow, crackled violently through the air like countless coiling dragons.
No one knew how many had died, only that the ground was littered with flesh, blood, and bones.
No one knew how many were injured, only that the air was filled with endless wails and agonized screams.
No one knew how many had been scared out of their wits, only that everyone was fleeing in every direction, heedless of all else.
Chaos.
Complete chaos.
The entire world had become a boiling pot of disorder.
The world below had instantly descended into pandemonium.
Had a calamity descended?
Or was it the apocalypse?
No!
It was neither.
Su Hua knew very well that the cause of this world's chaos was merely a single furious roar from Gu Qingfeng.
In the sky above.
Po Yun, leading the Heavenly Dao envoys; Wu Yuan, leading the Immortal Dao envoys; and Wuxiang, leading the Buddha Dao envoys—each looked more wretched than the last, their faces growing increasingly grim.
They were all Great Dao envoys, possessing formidable personal strength and the protection and blessing of their respective Great Daos. Though none had suffered significant injury, they were all thoroughly terrified, keeping their distance now, not daring to approach Gu Qingfeng again.
If not for the Eyes of Judgment still hovering in the sky, if not for knowing that the Great Daos beyond this world backed them, even with ten thousand times their current courage, they would not dare to remain here now.
"A...
Mi...
Tuo...
Fo!"
The White-Browed Holy Monk, whose seven orifices had bled from Gu Qingfeng's fierce shout, now stood in the sky, his body radiating a golden Buddhist light. As he pressed his palms together, he chanted the name of Amitabha Buddha.
The sound was vast and ethereal, a compassionate and merciful Buddhist chant, as if it came from the heavens above, from the earth below, or from the distant primordial times.
As the Buddhist chant resounded, a colossal Buddha statue seemed to appear in the sky. This statue was especially sacred. Upon its appearance, the darkened world instantly brightened. The dark clouds vanished, the fierce winds ceased, the thunder and lightning stopped crackling, and the torrential rain halted in an instant. The inverted yin and yang righted themselves, the chaotic five elements gradually calmed, the heavens ceased their violent cracking, and the earth stopped trembling. Everything came to a standstill as the sacred radiance shimmered.
"Sinful one!
If you dare act recklessly again, my Western Heaven Buddha Dao will not spare you!"
Holy Monk Wuxiang raised high the Buddha Dao Command Token. Instantly, a light of transcendence from the Buddha Dao's Eye of Judgment enveloped Gu Qingfeng!
At the same time.
Wu Yuan also raised both hands. In his left was the Immortal Dao Command Token, in his right the World Command Banner. The World's Eye of Judgment condensed a light of law, while the Immortal Dao's Eye of Judgment condensed a light of purification, both simultaneously enveloping Gu Qingfeng.
"Heaven's transgressions may be forgiven, but self-made sins are inexcusable!"
As Po Yun raised the Heavenly Dao Command Token, a majestic Heavenly Might descended in rolling waves, and the entire sky seemed to transform into a great sun.
Yes.
The entire sky was.
What was this?
This was the Eye of Judgment belonging to the Heavenly Dao.
If the World's judgment was law, the Immortal Dao's judgment was purification, and the Buddha Dao's judgment was transcendence, then the Heavenly Dao's judgment was destruction—absolute destruction. Throughout history, all who defied the Heavenly Dao had been utterly annihilated by the heavens.
In the sky above.
The Eye of Judgment from the World was the Law Sun, positioned at the center, its light of law enveloping Gu Qingfeng.
The Eye of Judgment from the Immortal Dao was the Purification Sun, positioned in the east, its light of purification enveloping Gu Qingfeng.
The Eye of Judgment from the Buddha Dao was the Transcendence Sun, positioned in the west, its light of transcendence enveloping Gu Qingfeng.
The Eye of Judgment from the Heavenly Dao was the Destruction Sun, filling the entire sky, its light of destruction also enveloping Gu Qingfeng.
If the earlier appearance of the Great Daos' Eyes of Judgment was merely a warning to Gu Qingfeng, then now, with the Great Daos' Judgment condensing their judgment lights to envelop him, it was a true ultimatum in the fullest sense.
Clearly.
Whether it was this World, this Immortal Dao, this Buddha Dao, or this Heavenly Dao, they were all using concrete action to tell Gu Qingfeng that if he dared make a single move, they would not hesitate to deliver judgment and would spare no cost to erase him.
Here.
That man in white, that Gu Qingfeng, still stood in the sky. Enveloped by the four judgment lights, he showed not a trace of fear. When the judgment lights enveloped him, he did not even frown, nor did he spare them a glance. He merely stood, merely gazed, gazing at that sinister blood moon in the sky above.
The Buddhist swastika seal that had previously sealed the blood moon had long since dissipated and vanished. The blood moon, having broken the seal, did not erupt with bloody radiance again as everyone had imagined, but instead began to slowly rotate.
What was astonishing, and what sent chills down the spine, was that as the blood moon rotated, mist began to rise from Gu Qingfeng's body. However, this mist was not white, nor was it black—it was a bloody mist.
Set against this bloody mist, Gu Qingfeng standing in the sky resembled a bloodthirsty, arrogant, and unruly demon god.
It was terrifying. It was fearsome.
What was happening?
No one knew what was happening!
Not even those Great Dao envoys.
Though they were honored as Great Dao rulers, they were only rulers of this world, not rulers of the Great Daos of heaven and earth. Whether judgment descended or not was not their decision; they were merely the spokespersons for the Great Daos of this world.
"Sinful one Gu Qingfeng, if you know what's good for you, hand over the All Beings Pay Homage to the Floating Pagoda immediately! Otherwise, the Heavenly Dao will not spare you, the Immortal Dao and Buddha Dao will not spare you, and I, Shangguan Yu, the Taiji Prodigy who bears the True Mandate, will certainly not spare you either!"
At this moment, Shangguan Yu stepped forward.
He looked quite wretched.
Indeed.
During Gu Qingfeng's earlier roar, though he had acted immediately to block it, he had still been shaken until his seven orifices bled.
This was a great loss of face for a Taiji Prodigy like him who bore the True Mandate, and it also made him clearly realize that Gu Qingfeng's existence was far more terrifying than he had imagined.
Even so, Shangguan Yu mustered his courage and stepped forward, both to reclaim his lost face and to put on a show before the Great Daos. Because he was certain that Gu Qingfeng, enveloped by the four judgments, was already a fish on the chopping block, incapable of causing much more trouble.
Therefore.
He stepped forward, and he stepped forward proudly, standing amidst seven-colored auspicious clouds, with dragons and phoenixes auspiciously guarding his surroundings, his body of Taiji Creation making him appear incomparably noble.
Just as Shangguan Yu stepped forward, the self-proclaimed Little Overlord, Shi Tian, unwilling to be outdone, also stepped forward.
Shangguan Yu looked wretched, but Shi Tian looked even more wretched than him. Not only were his seven orifices bleeding, but his clothes were torn and his hair disheveled.
Shangguan Yu stepped forward to save face and to show off, but Shi Tian was even more desperate to save face and even more eager to show off before the Great Daos.
Shangguan Yu stood amidst seven-colored auspicious clouds; he stood within a pure yang overlord sun. Shangguan Yu had dragons and phoenixes auspiciously guarding him; he had three constellations and one throne guarding him.
Shangguan Yu stepped forward nobly and proudly; he stepped forward arrogantly and insolently, pointing at Gu Qingfeng and shouting fiercely, "Gu, I don't care who you are! Daring to defy the heavens is to oppose my Heavenly Dao! I, Shi Tian, bear the mandate of four heavenly destinies! How can I allow you to act recklessly here? Kneel and accept your death!"
Suddenly, a deathly silent voice rang out.
"Just you?"
As the words fell, before Shi Tian could understand what was happening, he felt as if he had suddenly plunged into a dark abyss, as if enveloped by deathly stillness. When he came to his senses, what filled his vision was a person—a man in white shrouded in bloody mist, a man in white boundless in his stillness, solitary in his pride, cold and desolate, a man in white with a soaring killing intent, ruthless.
It was him.
Gu Qingfeng!
It was Gu Qingfeng, like the god of death.
Seeing Gu Qingfeng, Shi Tian was instantly scared out of his wits. He wanted to resist, he wanted to flee, but found he couldn't move at all.
He was afraid. Utterly afraid.
But it was too late!
Gu Qingfeng's palm descended, and Shi Tian was instantly reduced to ashes, dying on the spot!
