All beings between heaven and earth possess a breath, and the breaths of all beings are different.
Though Spiritual Breath is innate, it is not permanent and unchanging; rather, it transforms along with changes in cultivation and destiny.
However.
No matter how Spiritual Breath changes, the innate, fundamental Spiritual Breath does not alter. For example, Human Breath, Demon Breath, Monster Breath, and so on—these are all innate, fundamental Spiritual Breaths that do not change.
Apart from innate, fundamental Spiritual Breath, there is also acquired destiny breath. Cultivated Golden Cores, Nascent Souls, Immortal Spirits, and so forth, including Heavenly Mandates, Imperial Decrees, various Great Dao destinies—all belong to acquired destiny breath.
If innate, fundamental Spiritual Breath is likened to a seed, then the destiny Spiritual Breath formed later is like branches and leaves.
No matter how lush the branches and leaves, the seed will always remain that one seed.
Just as no matter how complex the acquired destiny Spiritual Breath, the innate, fundamental Spiritual Breath does not change.
Generally speaking, all cultivators basically possess one innate, fundamental Spiritual Breath, and more or less have several acquired destiny Spiritual Breaths. It is rare for someone to have only one innate, fundamental Spiritual Breath, since in this modern era everyone cultivates; as long as one cultivates, they will possess acquired destiny Spiritual Breath.
Now.
A fellow covered all over with Chaotic Current Vortices possessed only innate, fundamental Spiritual Breath, and moreover, this innate, fundamental Spiritual Breath was purely Human Breath. This not only felt familiar to Da Xing the Mad Monk—so familiar that it conjured a person in his mind.
That was Gu Qingfeng.
In Da Xing the Mad Monk's thoughts, only such a special fellow as Gu Qingfeng could survive within the mysterious, bizarre, and perilous Primordial Black Hole.
But.
Was it really this fellow?
Was it possible?
Da Xing the Mad Monk forcibly suppressed the excitement in his heart and continued to probe. When he finally discerned that person's appearance through his divine sense, his entire body felt as if struck by lightning, his mind shaken blank.
Because the fellow covered all over with Chaotic Current Vortices was none other than Gu Qingfeng!
Heavens above!
Buddha!
How could it be this fellow!
Good heavens!
The shock in Da Xing the Mad Monk's heart was unparalleled. He hadn't even had time to be shocked before his mind relaxed slightly, and his divine sense was instantly shredded by the endless Chaotic Current Vortices. Da Xing the Mad Monk decisively severed his divine sense, immediately retreated, and protected his mind. Yet even so, after severing his divine sense, his mind was still severely affected.
However, at this moment, Da Xing the Mad Monk could not care about his mind being impaired. Pointing at Gu Qingfeng, who was covered all over with Chaotic Current Vortices, he cried out to the Witch beside him, "Witch Niangniang, this fellow is Young Master Gu!"
"I know."
The Witch stood atop the glowing sphere, replying lightly, her gaze fixed on Gu Qingfeng opposite.
"You know?"
Da Xing the Mad Monk's expression froze, as if somewhat unable to comprehend. "How could you know?"
"Why shouldn't I know?"
"No!
Not that!
That's not what I mean, I mean..." Da Xing the Mad Monk's heart was in turmoil, his thoughts somewhat chaotic, not only because his mind was impaired, but also because he had learned that the fellow covered all over with Chaotic Current Vortices opposite was actually Gu Qingfeng.
"Young Master Gu!
What...
What's going on?
Why are there so many Chaotic Current Vortices in all his Acupoints?
What on earth is happening?"
"I said, you shouldn't have brought him to this Primordial Black Hole."
The Witch's voice came, making Da Xing the Mad Monk even more bewildered. He simply couldn't understand what connection there was between Gu Qingfeng being covered all over with Chaotic Current Vortices now and him bringing Gu Qingfeng to the Primordial Black Hole.
Suddenly.
Da Xing the Mad Monk seemed to realize something, asking in horror, "Could it be that Young Master Gu has suffered some tribulation?
Is he in mortal danger now?
Will these endless Chaotic Current Vortices kill him?"
"No.
Quite the opposite."
"What do you mean?"
"These Chaotic Current Vortices were manifested by himself."
"What!"
Hearing this, Da Xing the Mad Monk was utterly shocked. "For no reason, why would he manifest so many Chaotic Current Vortices?
What does he want to do?"
"You still haven't grasped my meaning. I said these Chaotic Current Vortices were all manifested by himself."
The Witch repeated what she had just said. Da Xing the Mad Monk didn't understand her meaning. He fiercely shook his head, calming his frantic mind. Only after he calmed down did he somewhat grasp the meaning of the Witch's words.
What Gu Qingfeng intended by manifesting so many Chaotic Current Vortices was not important. What was important was how he had manifested endless Chaotic Current Vortices.
One must know, this was the Primordial Black Hole!
How many forgotten spaces had been crushed and exploded in succession.
Those great powers had no choice but to seal themselves off and resign themselves to fate. Even the native Void Beasts of the Endless Sea could not withstand the Chaotic Currents of the Primordial Black Hole and were crushed to dust.
Da Xing the Mad Monk, including an existence like Witch Niangniang, could rely on their formidable strength to withstand the Chaotic Currents within the Primordial Black Hole. But as for manifesting Chaotic Current Vortices within the Primordial Black Hole, and endless ones at that—whether Witch Niangniang could do it, Da Xing the Mad Monk did not know. He only knew he himself could not.
"He must have comprehended the mysteries of the Chaotic Currents, gaining a completely new understanding of Space and the Great Dao."
Da Xing the Mad Monk exclaimed in astonishment, "These Chaotic Currents have no rules to speak of; what mysteries could there be?"
"Having no rules does not mean having no mysteries."
The Witch spoke softly and lightly. "You should understand that no matter how chaotic the currents, they are still Space. Since they are Space, they are the Great Dao. Since they are the Great Dao, they possess mysteries."
Yes.
Da Xing the Mad Monk knew.
Though he said the Chaotic Currents had no rules and no mysteries, that was just talk. In truth, Da Xing the Mad Monk understood better than anyone that what Witch Niangniang said was fact. All Chaotic Currents in the Endless Sea were Space. Different from the Great Wasteland Space, these currents were merely Space without life, without soul, without form, ever-changing Space—that did not mean they had no mysteries.
What truly shocked Da Xing the Mad Monk was this:
They had all fallen into the Primordial Black Hole.
He himself had struggled within the Primordial Black Hole, nearly dying, gaining nothing, and exhausting himself like a dog.
How could Gu Qingfeng, this fellow, comprehend some Great Dao Space mysteries within the Primordial Black Hole?
It wasn't that Da Xing the Mad Monk didn't know Gu Qingfeng's comprehension was peerless. On the contrary, he was very clear and knew Gu Qingfeng's comprehension was terrifyingly high.
But no matter how peerless or terrifyingly high his comprehension, surely it shouldn't be possible to comprehend Great Dao Space mysteries in a place as mysterious, bizarre, and perilous as the Primordial Black Hole, right?
Wasn't this too exaggerated, too bizarre?
And what Great Dao Space mysteries had this fellow comprehended?
Da Xing the Mad Monk thought and thought but could not figure out what kind of Great Dao Space mysteries one must comprehend to manifest endless Chaotic Current Vortices within such a massive Chaotic Current Vortex as the Primordial Black Hole.
When he inquired, the Witch responded, "What Great Dao Space mysteries he has comprehended, I do not know. Since he can manifest endless Chaotic Current Vortices within the Primordial Black Hole, it means he has seen through and pierced the transformations of these currents. In other words, not only can he now move freely within the Primordial Black Hole as if walking on level ground, he can also completely merge with the currents, becoming indistinguishable from them."
