Gurgle! Gurgle!
The Bloody Spring Eye was gushing forth Blood Water with increasing ferocity.
The crimson liquid resembled boiling blood, emitting rolling clouds of Blood Mist. The Blood Water flowed from the blood pool, beginning to spread in all directions.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
No one knew what the Bloody Spring Eye was, nor what the Blood Water was. No one dared to risk touching it. Everyone immediately leaped into the air, standing aloft.
Blood Mist.
It permeated everywhere.
The Blood Mist was filled with a terrifying aura of Bloodsha and demonic energy.
Blood Water.
It flowed everywhere.
The Blood Water boiled and burned like flames. In less than a moment, the Blood Water had already formed a river of blood.
Witnessing this scene, Gu Qingfeng couldn't help but slightly furrow his brow. He could sense that the Blood Mist contained an extremely terrifying Bloodsha, far more dreadful than any he had ever encountered. It was the first time he had seen such intense Bloodsha.
Based on his experience, wherever there was Bloodsha, there must be a blood demon.
Could it be that this Bloody Spring Eye concealed a blood demon from the Primordial Age?
It was hard to say, and he couldn't be sure.
What puzzled Gu Qingfeng the most was that he always felt this Bloody Spring Eye seemed related to Original Sin. This feeling grew increasingly intense as the blood formed a river, and it was also attracting him.
That's right.
Attraction.
As if something within the Bloody Spring Eye was constantly calling to him.
This feeling was very familiar to Gu Qingfeng.
Back in the Great Northwest of the mortal world, when a drop of Original Sin's blood appeared, it felt exactly like this. Later, he fused with that drop of Original Sin's blood for the same reason—because that drop not only called to him but also felt as if it originally belonged to him, making it impossible for him to refuse.
Now, this feeling had returned.
Could it be that what was hidden within the Bloody Spring Eye wasn't a Primordial Age blood demon?
But rather a drop of Original Sin's blood left behind from the Primordial Age?
The Blood Mist continued to spread, and the Bloodsha contained within it was already causing severe discomfort among the crowd. Yet, no one left. Instead, they each circulated their spiritual power and summoned magical treasures to protect themselves, cautiously remaining on guard.
An unknown amount of time passed. The Blood Water gushing from the Bloody Spring Eye was no longer as violent as at the beginning, gradually calming down. It felt as if the spring eye was about to run dry.
Sure enough.
After a while, the Bloody Spring Eye finally stopped gushing Blood Water. As the Blood Water dried up, the true appearance of the Bloody Spring Eye was revealed to everyone.
To be precise, it wasn't a Bloody Spring Eye at all, but a crimson Blood Cauldron.
The cauldron was about nine meters tall, a nine-legged cauldron entirely crimson in color. Its body was carved with mysterious and eerie runes. The runes flickered faintly, twisted and blurred, burning like flames, appearing profoundly mysterious and wondrous.
What in the world was this thing?
No one knew.
Everyone released their divine sense to probe it, but they couldn't detect anything at all. They couldn't sense the existence of the Crimson Blood Cauldron.
Gu Qingfeng was the same, Changfeng Great Emperor was the same, and no one else could sense the Crimson Blood Cauldron either.
The only thing certain was that this Crimson Blood Cauldron was no ordinary object. A good object wouldn't spew out so much Blood Water, nor could it contain such terrifying Bloodsha.
Gu Qingfeng stared at it for a long time but couldn't figure it out. Personally, he wasn't very interested in magical treasures and rarely studied such things. However, those faintly discernible runes on the Crimson Blood Cauldron piqued his curiosity. He had never seen such sinister runes before.
Moreover, as he gazed at the Crimson Blood Cauldron, the feeling that something was calling to him grew stronger and stronger. Especially when he focused on those flickering runes on the cauldron's body, it made Gu Qingfeng want to rush over immediately to get a closer look.
Not only was he feeling this way, but the Evil Asura within his body, along with the powers of Ascending to the Azure and Descending to the Yellow Springs, were also stirring restlessly.
Besides that, he also felt as if another existence within his body was similarly stirring.
Although it was very faint, Gu Qingfeng definitely sensed it.
If his guess was correct, that other stirring existence was most likely the Omen Object he had inexplicably fused with earlier.
Good heavens!
Originally, Gu Qingfeng had never been entirely certain whether he had truly fused with the so-called Omen Object, since he couldn't sense its presence. But now that he could somewhat sense the Omen Object also stirring, he finally had to accept it.
Suddenly.
Gu Qingfeng felt as if there was something else within his body stirring as well.
He thought he might be imagining it.
But upon careful sensing, no, there was definitely another existence stirring.
What frustrated Gu Qingfeng was that, aside from the Evil Asura, the powers of Ascending to the Azure and Descending to the Yellow Springs, plus the Omen Object, there didn't seem to be anything else within his body, right?
Could it be some Absolute Dao?
The Dao of Life?
The Dao of Slaughter or the Dao of Death?
Or perhaps the celestial phenomena of All Living Beings' Floating Worship, the hellish phenomena of All Death's Refining Roar, or the chaotic rotation of Space and Cosmos?
Could it be these?
In Gu Qingfeng's view, it was unlikely.
The Great Daos he had comprehended, though they were forbidden Daos, were just that—Daos. These Daos were like divine abilities, a form of power. They had neither life nor consciousness and couldn't possibly stir restlessly.
As for the phenomena of All Living Beings' Floating Worship, All Death's Refining Roar, and the chaotic Cosmos, these were also forms of power and equally incapable of stirring. It was precisely because of this that Gu Qingfeng could completely control them.
In contrast, the Evil Asura and the powers of Ascending to the Azure and Descending to the Yellow Springs—one was his soul, the other his incarnation. Whether they counted as having life, Gu Qingfeng didn't know and couldn't be sure. But these existences definitely had consciousness, or at the very least, will.
He could feel it.
Therefore, Gu Qingfeng could not completely control these two existences.
As for the Omen Object he had fused with not long ago, Gu Qingfeng didn't know much about it. But now it seemed that it, too, most likely had consciousness.
He thought and thought but couldn't figure out what other conscious creation, aside from the Evil Asura, the powers of Ascending to the Azure and Descending to the Yellow Springs, and the Omen Object, could exist within his body.
Suddenly.
Gu Qingfeng seemed to realize something, his heart giving a lurch. He thought to himself: Could it be Original Sin?
Back when Mount Wudao descended and Gu Qingfeng ignited the karmic flames of Original Sin, the Original Sin on his body had mysteriously vanished.
No.
Not vanished. It was more like it had fallen asleep.
At the very least, Gu Qingfeng couldn't sense the presence of Original Sin.
If asked whether Original Sin was life or had consciousness, he might not know about others' Original Sin, but the Original Sin on his own body definitely had consciousness.
Could it be that Original Sin, which had been dormant for so many years, was now awakening?
He wasn't entirely sure.
Gu Qingfeng wasn't one hundred percent certain whether it was Original Sin that was also stirring; he just felt that it might be.
Then again, if that were truly the case, what in the blazes was this Crimson Blood Cauldron?
The Evil Asura and the powers of Ascending to the Azure and Descending to the Yellow Springs stirring was one thing.
The deeply hidden Omen Object was now also stirring.
Could it be that even the long-dormant Original Sin was awakening at the sight of this Crimson Blood Cauldron?
