As the Golden-Horned Dragon Silkworm submerged into this crimson sea, far away in the Chaotic Void, more than a dozen Dark Faction experts swiftly approached and finally came to a stop before this vast, deep red expanse of water.
"Beneath this sea lies the entrance to the Colorless Abyss. It seems that young man intends to enter the Colorless Abyss," the leading Dark Faction expert said, sensing Ye Yunfei's aura as he observed the turbulent red sea ahead.
This Dark Faction expert was the Perfected Earth Immortal from before. Utilizing a tracking secret technique, he had pursued Ye Yunfei all the way here.
"Then shall we follow him in?" another Dark Faction expert asked.
"No, we will not enter," the Perfected Earth Immortal replied after a moment's thought. "From what I know, several of our lords have already dispatched experts into the Colorless Abyss to uncover its secrets. The goal of the World-Destroying War our Dark Faction has launched this time is to exterminate all life in all worlds within this spacetime. The Colorless Abyss cannot be an exception, but it is somewhat peculiar, rumored to be related to the deities of ancient legends. Without the orders of our lords, we shall not enter for now. After returning, we will report Ye Yunfei's whereabouts."
With that, the Perfected Earth Immortal turned and departed with the other Dark Faction Earth Immortals.
Splash...
At this moment, the Golden-Horned Dragon Silkworm had already dived deep into the depths of the dark red sea. Terrifying pressure from all sides relentlessly squeezed in. However, for the Golden-Horned Dragon Silkworm, this pressure held no threat, as their race possessed a special spatial talent that allowed them to dissipate such forces.
Rumble...
Not long after the Golden-Horned Dragon Silkworm reached the seafloor and was searching for the entrance to the Colorless Abyss, a powerful spacetime fluctuation suddenly emerged, and spacetime began to invert.
Immediately, the Golden-Horned Dragon Silkworm found himself standing before a massive portal for spacetime entry and exit.
"What strange and eerie spacetime laws and structures!" the Golden-Horned Dragon Silkworm cried out in shock. Given his level of spatial energy, he hadn't detected how he had been transported before this spacetime portal.
"The spatial structure and laws of this place are indeed peculiar. Compared to the outside world, they seem frighteningly advanced," Ye Yunfei said, stepping out of the Phantom Tower upon hearing the Golden-Horned Dragon Silkworm's words and stretching his senses.
During this period, Ye Yunfei had been constantly pondering spatial laws. Though his spatial energy level hadn't progressed due to being shunned by the Great Dao, his understanding of space had deepened.
"This should be the entrance portal to the Colorless Abyss," Ye Yunfei said, examining the portal before him, and then he stepped inside.
Rumble...
A powerful force of spacetime teleportation enveloped him. Ye Yunfei felt as though the world spun around him, spacetime shifting.
In the next instant, Ye Yunfei found himself in a dim, hazy space. Looking around, everything was shrouded in gray mist, giving a desolate and bleak feeling. Simultaneously, he realized this space was utterly silent—a deathly stillness devoid of any sound or fluctuation. It felt as if he had entered a completely static world.
Waves of chill air also assaulted him, wrapping around his body, but given the formidable quality of his fleshly physique, he felt little effect. If weaker beings had arrived here, they likely couldn't have endured this chill alone.
"Is this the Colorless Abyss?" Ye Yunfei projected his Soul Power to sense the surroundings, remaining cautious.
"This space truly contains no energy or laws at all. It seems to be a vast, boundless vacuum zone," Ye Yunfei said, startled. Generally, space contains energy and laws. In some special spaces, the energy and laws present might simply be unconventional. A space utterly devoid of energy and laws was exceedingly rare.
Such a space meant no living being could draw upon its energy or laws for replenishment.
"The Colorless Abyss truly holds not a speck of energy or law. This space is truly bizarre," Hun Lao remarked.
"If it's true that many powerful experts from the Three Thousand Major and Minor Worlds have secluded themselves here in the Colorless Abyss, how do they cultivate? How do they replenish the energy and laws within their bodies?" Hun Lao added.
"There is only one way: by utilizing the cultivation resources they've brought with them," Ye Yunfei said after some thought.
"If that's the case, then you need to be careful. I've heard many powerful experts from the Three Thousand Major and Minor Worlds reside here in the Colorless Abyss. Having been here long-term, their personal resources have likely been nearly depleted. You've just entered. If discovered, someone might come looking for trouble and try to seize the resources on you," Hun Lao warned.
"Hmm, that's indeed a real possibility," Ye Yunfei responded, a shiver of apprehension running through him.
"In any case, this world is very strange. We must be cautious in all things and at every step," Ye Yunfei said.
He then began walking forward.
Everywhere was a gray haze. There was no energy or law, no movement, not even air. Everything seemed to be in a state of stillness.
"Not good! My sensory abilities seem to be severely suppressed here! The maximum distance I can sense now is only a few hundred kilometers!" Ye Yunfei exclaimed, his expression drastically changing. With Ye Yunfei's Soul Power, he could instantly sense across half of a typical ordinary world—an immensely powerful range. A sensory limit of a few hundred kilometers was utterly unacceptable for him.
"You're right. My sensory abilities are also greatly restricted, seemingly about the same as yours!" Hun Lao said, upon hearing Ye Yunfei, immediately projecting his own Soul Power into the distance. He found his sensing capability indeed severely hampered.
"Mine is similar!" the Golden-Horned Dragon Silkworm cried out after trying as well.
"It seems this world doesn't truly contain no energy or laws. Rather, it hides a special energy or law we cannot sense, which is restricting our perception," Hun Lao speculated after searching through his race's inherited memories. "And this energy or law we cannot sense must be beyond our current level of power—too advanced for us to perceive!"
"Regardless, with our senses restricted, this world becomes even more dangerous for us," Ye Yunfei stated.
He continued walking forward, maintaining vigilance as he sensed his surroundings.
"Heh, it's strange—a young man has actually entered this place," a voice spoke.
At this moment, a blue-robed middle-aged man suddenly appeared in the distance, his expression calm as he looked at Ye Yunfei from afar.
